Reynaldo Ramirez, Jr., MBA, JD, LLM
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Ramirez has taught law at the Thurgood Marshall School of Law and criminal law at The University of North Texas PDI Institute. In the past 20 years of teaching, he has written numerous law review articles and published case law in Texas. Recently, one academic article was used in a Tennesse Supreme Court published decision. He was a Texas Chief Prosecutor, Chief Public Defender, and Chief of the Harris County Public Defenders Mental Health Division. He was chief counsel for the Texas Mexican Railway, the oldest railroad in Texas, and has represented other Fortune 500 companies. In 2021, Mr. Ramirez received his post-doctorate LLM in American and Transnational Law from the University of Dayton.
He presently serves as independent counsel to several law enforcement agencies in Harris County, Texas.
